The Unstable consists of original members from the bands Submerged in Dirt and Contagion 237. When those bands went defunct, Joe Stone and Lee Anderson continued to write music and collaborate, eventually accumulating enough music to release a new album under the new moniker "The Unstable". Formed in 2021 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
